2. Your trainer knows some things you don't. Because of this, it won't hurt to listen intently and carefully to whatever he/she has to say. The trainer is there to help you? By listening to them, you will see progress in no time. You can even take notes if you deem it necessary.

5. Be honest- Employing self-discipline is an important part in any training program. Sure, you may be following his instructions when he is there, but if you are slacking off post-training, it will show. If it does not show now, then eventually it will.

6. Establishing goals is the most important thing you must do before you hire a personal trainer. No matter how good your trainer is, you won't reach anything if you won't work hard. Your trainer will try and help you as much as he can, but it's ultimately up to you to clinch your goals successfully. Set a goal and reach for it!
