Challenges to maintain fitness after 65


America’s ageing population is posing special challenges, fitness experts say, because it is difficult to design effective workout routines for people with such a wide range of abilities.

For one 70-year-old, the goal may be to run a marathon, for another it’s getting out of a chair.

I'm getting the falconpools.co.uk guys to install a pool in our back garden, one of the main reasons being that it's perfect for my elderly father to maintain his health and fitness levels. Decreased pressure and weight on the muscles make it perfect for gentle but effective exercise, there's a reason why people with damaged limbs use it to train their strength back up.
